Welcome to our Webring! We hope you will enjoy your visit. If you are from the South (or live in the South, or have lived in the South, or have a special love for the South) and have a Website, we hope you will consider joining the Bayou Belles & Beaux Webring. Even if you don't have a website, we hope you will enjoy exploring the site, as well as surfing the ring. Be assured that this Webring is Family Friendly. One of us checks out each site before it is added to the ring to be certain of that! We encourage all of the Belles & Beaux to do the same once the sites become a part of the ring. The term "Family Friendly" has come to have so many different meanings to so many different people that it almost has no meaning at all anymore. We thought it best to define exactly what we mean when we say "Family Friendly". Click here to read the definition, and all of the requirements of belonging to the ring. To sum it up, though, all of the sites in this ring are "nice". This may not be a reflection of the real world, but that's the way it is. We don't want to have controversy and anger and commotion, (even though that is probably the quickest way to stir up traffic). We have enough of that in Real Life. That doesn't mean that everybody has to agree about everything! That wouldn't be any fun at all! We hope to attract a wide variety of sites built by a diverse group of people of all ages and walks of life, and we expect that there will be disagreements. I'm sure that, being Belles & Beaux, we will all manage to be civil.
